How Private Study Works

Private lessons are tailored to the unique needs and wants of the individual. For some students the lessons will be more Alexander Technique based while for other students more rooted in The Daring Way™. Often a combination of the two will emerge because we cannot separate the body from the mind from the emotional life.

Prior to your first lesson, you will fill out a brief intake form with questions regarding your health history, previous experience, and intentions for our process together. Your first lesson will be a full hour in length as we will go over your intake form together and begin to develop a strong sense of where you are at, what you are up against, and where you want to go. Based on these connections you will begin learning practical tools specific to your unique wants and needs.

The process of study is cumulative and deepens in subsequent lessons which are 50 minutes in length. Weekly lessons are recommended in the beginning to cultivate the greatest overall connections and change.
